Britannia Youngstown is an older neighbourhood located in mature Northwest Edmonton. With roots dating back to the early 1900s, the community was formerly a part of the Town of Jasper Place. At that time, Britannia and Youngstown were two separate subdivisions; Britannia was established sometime around 1912 and Youngstown many years later during the 1950s (along with Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery).
