Built to mimic a small town within a large city, Terwillegar Towne remains one of the most uniquely designed neighbourhoods in the capital region. Located directly east of the Anthony Henday, Terwillegar Towne is a newer community celebrated for its beautifully crafted homes, endless assortment of amenities and vibrant green spaces – all of which are tucked away within a quiet and comfortable setting.
Did you know? Terwillegar Towne takes its name from Dr. Norman L. Terwillegar, a local surgeon, pioneer and property owner. Terwillegar practiced medicine at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for over 30 years and was president of the Edmonton Academy of Medicine and Canadian Medical Association (AB division).
Terwillegar Towne Real Estate and Homes For Sale
Terwillegar Towne was first established in the early 1990s, with development continuing well into the 2000s. As a result, the community is often a popular choice among Southwest Edmonton buyers in search of a modern home.
Single-family homes featuring four bedrooms and bathrooms are the predominant home style in the area, each outfitted with the latest contemporary features, including open floor plans, hardwood flooring, soaring ceilings, flex rooms, luxury ensuites and more. In addition, these detached models can range from classically designed laned models, ideal for families just starting out, to lavish luxury properties offering 3,000+ square feet of living space (and everything in between).
Though single-family dwellings account for roughly 80% of all home styles within Terwillegar Towne, attached and semi-detached homes are also prevalent throughout. They include modern duplexes starting in the mid 300s, followed by a small number of attractive townhomes and apartment-style condos, typically priced between $200,000 to $270,000.
