Situated directly south of West Edmonton Mall and Whitemud Drive, the land comprising these communities was annexed by the City of Edmonton in 1969. Commuting From the Callingwoods

Callingwood North and South are defined by 178th Street to the west and 170th Street to the east. Both routes provide a direct commute to Whitemud Drive, West Edmonton Mall and 100th Ave (Stony Plain Road). Whitemud Drive also offers convenient access to the west Anthony Henday and the capital region.

Both communities are considered walkable (most errands can be accomplished on foot) and offer some transit opportunities. Residents will also enjoy improved transit access to the greater City of Edmonton with the completion of the West Valley LRT line.
