Overlanders is a well‑established neighbourhood located in the Hermitage area of Northeast Edmonton. Developed primarily in the late 1970s and 1980s, it offers a blend of affordable housing, mature green space, and convenient access to major transit and road links. The name “Overlanders” commemorates the group of miners who travelled by Red River cart from Fort Garry to the Cariboo gold fields in 1862 and chose to settle in this region.
