Balwin is an established neighbourhood located in Northeast Edmonton’s greater Londonderry district. Formerly a part of the original Village of North Edmonton, Balwin’s roots date back to the late 1800s when the area was known as “Packingtown.” Balwin is home to commercial and school facilities, ample park space, and a broad selection of affordable home styles.
Bounded by both Fort Road and Yellowhead Trail, residents of this easily accessible neighbourhood also enjoy having convenient access to Downtown Edmonton (situated less than 15 minutes drive to the south) as well as countless North Edmonton amenities.
