One of five communities located in northeast Edmonton’s Pilot Sound area, Hollick-Kenyon sits nestled near the north Anthony Henday and Manning Drive. Extremely amenity-friendly, this diverse all-in-one neighbourhood was developed with families in mind, offering a broad range of single-family homes in all styles and price points, ample nearby shops and services, several local schools and vast amounts of outdoor space.
Did you know? As a nod to Edmonton’s aviation history, the Pilot Sound district is comprised of five residential neighbourhoods – each taking its name after a brave Canadian pilot, including Brintnell, Matt Berry, Cy Becker, McConachie and, of course, Hollick-Kenyon.
Hollick-Kenyon Home Styles
Though Hollick-Kenyon was first established in the early 1990s, development continued well into the late 2000s – with two-storey single-family homes accounting for most real estate opportunities in the area. Like many other detached dwellings in this part of northeast Edmonton, these homes generally feature large front attached garages, three to four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and plenty of room for a family to grow.
However, as the community has developed, affordable, lower-maintenance properties, including roomy duplexes, reasonably-priced townhomes, and modern, low-rise apartment-style condos, have become increasingly popular – many of which were constructed after 2005.
Average Hollick-Kenyon Listing Price = $296,000
