Did you know? Strathcona High School is Edmonton’s oldest school. Initially located in the building now referred to as Old Scona Academic, the institution first opened its doors in 1908 to a mere 71 students. The school moved to its current location along Calgary Trail in 1955.

Surrounded by major thoroughfares in every direction, residents of these highly accessible neighbourhoods can enjoy a streamlined commute to just about anywhere. Nearby 75th Street offers direct access to Whitemud Drive, Wayne Gretzky Drive and Yellowhead Trail, while bordering 99th Street leads to both south Edmonton and the city’s downtown core. Argyll Road and 82nd Ave (Sherwood Park Freeway) connect directly with the east Anthony Henday.
Varying transit stops and routes can be found across the area, which will also feature a stop along Edmonton’s up-and-coming Southeast Valley LRT.
