Beacon Heights Homes and Real Estate Listings
Annexed by the City of Edmonton back in 1961, Beacon Heights was once part of the coal boom that the Town of Beverly once enjoyed. Housing in the area started in 1910, but the majority of the houses that comprise modern day Beacon Heights homes for sale were built in the 1950’s and 1960’s. This family oriented community is predominantly made up of single family bungalows with a small selection of duplexes and low-rise apartments and condos. The community surrounds Jubilee Park that features a local Community Centre with two outdoor skating rinks, a children’s park and a water park splash-pad. School aged children are able to attend either Beacon Heights Public School or St. Bernadette Catholic School. Shopping for residents is easy as most of the neighborhoods quiet streets feed into main roads that allow ease of access to local amenities and adjacent communities.
